InterTabac, NUBIZ and InterSupply concluded their 2026 Dortmund edition after three exhibition days, with approximately 750 companies from 64 countries taking part across ten halls, according to Messe Dortmund’s post-show report. The combined events ran from 15 to 17 September.

The scope of that count matters. It covers all three exhibitions, not InterTabac alone and not a vaping-only exhibitor total. The organiser described regulation and product development as recurring themes, while reporting participation from manufacturers, retailers and distributors.

The programme published before the event helps explain the mix. InterTabac covered established tobacco categories and accessories; NUBIZ focused on vaping, nicotine pouches and other newer products; InterSupply addressed manufacturing and production inputs. Combining their figures without explaining those categories would overstate the scale of any single segment.

The retrospective also discusses visitor and exhibitor surveys. Such feedback describes the organiser’s respondents and should be distinguished from independently audited industry performance. Exhibitor presence, interest in a return visit and completed commercial orders are different measures.

For readers tracking the sector, this edition offers a documented record of which business areas shared a venue and the subjects raised there. The published material does not establish the value of deals signed, changes in consumer demand or market-wide growth. Those conclusions would require separate evidence beyond a trade-show report.
