OXVA Introduces ABT Liquid-Level Detection for XLIM PRO 4
OXVA’s new liquid detection feature needs a matched device and cartridge. Its performance claims have not been independently tested by VapeBrief.
Key points
- OXVA says ABT detects low liquid, shows a refill alert and stops power output.
- The protection requires both the XLIM PRO 4 and an XLIM ABT Cartridge.
- The announced performance has not been independently tested by VapeBrief.
OXVA has introduced ABT, a liquid-level detection system intended to stop a pod device firing when e-liquid runs low. The feature pairs the XLIM PRO 4 with an XLIM ABT Cartridge, according to an October 21 announcement published by Ecigclick.
The company says the system displays a refill warning and cuts power when it detects insufficient liquid. It presents this as a different approach from protections that respond to coil temperature or related electrical signals.
The pairing matters. OXVA says a standard XLIM cartridge can work in the XLIM PRO 4, and an ABT cartridge can work in certain earlier XLIM devices, but ABT protection will not activate in either combination.
The announcement describes demonstrations, rather than independent test results. VapeBrief has not tested the device, so the stated protection and performance remain manufacturer claims.
