UWELL CALIBURN G3 Pro Review: Controls and Cartridge Compatibility

A large display is only part of the G3 Pro story. This documentation-based review separates its controls, original cartridge configurations and current compatibility claims.

Key points

  • This is a documentation-based review, not a hands-on test.
  • Cartridge capacity depends on the resistance and configuration.
  • Compatibility with a platform does not establish what a particular kit includes.

Documentation-based review: VapeBrief has not physically tested this device. This article examines published specifications and product documentation, not measured performance or personal vaping experience.

The CALIBURN G3 Pro is a 2024 product, not a newly announced release. UWELL’s July launch gives it a useful place in the CALIBURN archive: a device combining a prominent display, adjustable output and a shared cartridge platform. The question worth examining is how those elements fit together, rather than whether a promotional description sounds persuasive.

First, identify the configuration

UWELL’s launch specifications describe a 1,000mAh battery and a maximum output of 35W. They also distinguish cartridge configurations: the international 0.4-ohm version is listed at 3ml, while the 0.6- and 0.9-ohm options are listed at 2.5ml. These are manufacturer specifications, not measurements by VapeBrief. UWELL’s launch announcement

That distinction changes how a review should be read. A single capacity number attached to the device name can conceal the cartridge actually being discussed. For a future test, the resistance, capacity and regional package should be recorded together. Otherwise, two apparently conflicting reports may simply describe different configurations.

Two different kinds of control

The product page documents a display, adjustable airflow, button operation and draw activation. It also identifies a liquid-viewing window and USB-C charging rated at 2A. These statements establish intended controls and layout; they do not establish outdoor screen readability, charging duration or airflow consistency. Official product documentation

Our reading is that electronic settings and mechanical airflow deserve separate assessment. A large screen may make information more prominent, but its size alone cannot show whether a control is predictable or whether an adjustment stays in place. Those questions require handling a sample.

Compatibility is not a box-contents list

UWELL’s current G Pod Platform includes the G3 Pro and separates several cartridge families and configurations. This current compatibility picture is broader than the original launch package. A compatible cartridge is not necessarily included in a specific kit, and a later platform listing is not evidence that every variant was available at launch. Current G Pod Platform

The documentation-level conclusion

The G3 Pro’s documented design separates airflow from electronic adjustment and places the device within a wider cartridge ecosystem. Neither point settles battery endurance, leakage, cartridge longevity or output stability. A defensible performance verdict would need a named configuration, a repeatable method and recorded results. Until then, the controls and compatibility are assessable; daily performance remains unverified.
